The mysterious clone of Wolverine who has killed many as a part of a WeaponX splinter program. Laura was found by Deadpool (Wade Wilson) in Russia while he was on a vendetta to track down former WeaponX scientists. She was used as an assassin for an unknown group until she mysteriously lose her memory and was taken prisoner by a anti-government group she was supposedly sent to kill. X23 adopted the name “Laura Kinney” in honor of an American journalist, also a prisoner of the separatists, who showed her kindness while in captivity. When discovered by Wade she would be taken to the Xavier Institute where tests would reveal her identity as a clone of Wolverine.
